The De Andres sisters focus on making unusual and unique wines, consulting growers, producers, buyers and consumers in order to offer exciting and relevant wines with an eye to sustainable viticulture.
Obaya is assembled from a number of vintages, combining the complexity of aged wine with the vibrancy of a new harvest. Aged in large, second and third use oak barrels for four months prior to bottling.
Tasting note: Vibrant and fruity on the nose with notes of strawberry, plum and vanilla. On the palate, hints of leather and dried herbs alongside cherry and blackcurrant. Medium-bodied with soft tannins.
